Kat Edwards

I am an Interior Design Graduate of Florida State College at Jacksonville. I am continuing my education by pursuing many different certificates - home staging, drafting, AutoCAD, and carpentry.

 

I am currently interning at The Florida Home Store in Julington Creek.  The Florida Home Store is a 'one stop shop' for both home owners and builders or designers who need assistance with their new home or their remodel. They offer design assistance, materials and finish assistance, and knowledge about any part of the building or remodeling process for those who need it.

 

In the future, I would like to design and build homes for those who can't afford the normal 'American dream' house. I hope to do this with the use of Tiny Houses and Container Houses. Both are unique, enviromentally friendly, affordable and quite cool. I plan to have my first tiny house built by the end of this year.
